I had a fun shoot with Lezlie Johnson, floral artist with Grand Design. Lezlie and I have been inspired by several floral/nature projects such as Lisa Lee and Glen Mc Dowell’s, and decided to have our own. Lezlie is a wedding florist and she also teaches Ikibana. She has studied the Japanese art of flower placement for over 20 years and I think those skills were well used when she created the floral hair pieces for our shoot. We have worked together many times but this is the first time we got the chance to collaborate. Hair and makeup by Jackie Hudson and Shanna Bustichi Peuse.
