DIY backyard wedding in the Santa Cruz mountains.
Now that the winter months are here I have the time to go back and relive some of the fabulous weddings I photographed this summer. I remember this wedding well as it was one of the hottest days in July. It never really gets that hot here in Northern California but this particular day was sweltering. Luckily, my bride had it under control with an abundance of cold drinks and shade.
Many of my brides are creative and crafty. And then there is Sabrine; smart, sophisticated and a lover of art, nature and entertaining. A wine maker by trade, and a weekend carpenter/gardener, Sabrine masterminded a way to shade her guests at her sunny backyard wedding without losing the ambiance of her orchard and the organic feel.
She made this dance floor with old winery signs and pallets. I love the blue paint and the chickens feet details.
A Persian feast!
She featured many of her award winning wines.
Family style dining in a backyard orchard.
Congratulations, Sabrine and Karoosh!
